Why This Matters
Atlassian is moving fast, and so is the way teams build and work.
Forge is Atlassian’s cloud development platform. It makes apps more secure, scalable, and better connected to Jira, Confluence, and the Atlassian cloud.
For example, if you’re a Jira admin, apps built with Forge run right inside Atlassian’s infrastructure, so there’s no need to worry about third-party data risk. That means smoother setup, stronger performance, and peace of mind on compliance.

What We’re Focusing On
We’ve outlined three key areas in our roadmap:
1. New Apps, Built Natively on Forge
We’re building a fresh lineup of apps using Forge, Atlassian’s newest cloud development platform. It helps us create tools that are faster, simpler to use, and easier to trust—because they run right inside Jira and Confluence, with no extra setup or servers needed.
The first one is already here: GanttTable.
It lets you plan your Jira tasks on a visual timeline—just like a Gantt chart or spreadsheet. You can drag and drop issues, track deadlines, and manage workloads all in one place. It’s clean, intuitive, and fits right into your daily Jira workflow.
And we’re not stopping there. More new apps are coming soon—built from scratch to take full advantage of Forge, and designed to make your work even smoother.

2. Moving Our Current Apps to Forge
We’re migrating many of our popular apps—like AgileTest, ProScheduler, and AssetIT—to the Forge platform.
This move means these apps will benefit from Atlassian’s secure, cloud-hosted environment. You’ll see fewer interruptions and faster updates because Forge handles hosting and maintenance directly.
Plus, Forge supports important features like data residency—helping your company keep data where it needs to be—and makes it easier for us to scale apps as your team grows.

We’re just getting started with Rovo AI, but we’re excited about what it could mean for the future of our apps.
