DevSamurai’s first Atlassian Enterprise Certified app marks the beginning of a broader effort to strengthen security, compliance, reliability, and transparency across our Marketplace portfolio.
We’re pleased to announce that TeamBoard ProScheduler has earned the new Atlassian Enterprise Certified (AEC) badge, becoming the first DevSamurai app to achieve this designation.
Atlassian introduced AEC on October 1, 2026, to help organizations identify Marketplace apps that meet additional requirements for security, compliance, reliability, privacy, accessibility, and responsible AI use.
For DevSamurai, this certification is an important achievement—and the beginning of a broader initiative. We’re now working toward certification for six more major apps in November 2026: ProductGo, Teamboard TimePlanner, AssetIT, AgileTest, AgileBox, and GanttTable.
Here’s what the new badge means, why it matters to enterprise customers, and what we’re doing next.
What Is Atlassian Enterprise Certified?
Atlassian Enterprise Certified is a verification program for eligible Forge-based Marketplace cloud apps. It provides an Atlassian-verified indication that an app has met requirements beyond the baseline standards applicable to Marketplace cloud apps.
As organizations expand their use of Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian products, third-party apps increasingly support business-critical processes. Selecting those apps requires more than reviewing feature lists and user ratings. Security, procurement, and IT teams also need reliable information about data handling, compliance, operational practices, and vendor responsibilities.
AEC brings these expectations into a common framework, with a recognizable badge on qualifying Marketplace listings and a dedicated filter that helps customers discover certified apps.
The program also represents a transition from Atlassian’s existing Cloud Fortified designation, which is scheduled to retire on December 31, 2026.

What Does the Certification Cover?
AEC evaluates five areas that are particularly relevant to enterprise software adoption.
Security
Eligible apps must demonstrate additional security controls and practices, including current independent penetration-testing evidence, participation in Atlassian’s bug bounty program, vulnerability management, appropriate encryption, and least-privilege access to data.
The requirements also address how apps manage credentials, log sensitive information, and document their architecture and data flows.
Privacy and compliance
AEC requires evidence of SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 compliance, a public trust center, documented privacy and data-handling policies, and appropriate data residency support where applicable.
For enterprise customers, having this information available through a consistent verification framework can simplify vendor assessments and reduce repeated information requests.
Reliability and support
Certified apps must meet documented requirements for incident management, public service-status visibility, and coordination with Atlassian during security incidents.
The program also requires vendors to respond to critical customer support issues within 24 hours, five days per week. This is a response-time requirement, not a guarantee that every issue will be resolved within that period.
Accessibility
AEC requires documented accessibility information through a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT), helping organizations assess an app’s accessibility capabilities and limitations.
This provides transparency without implying that every accessibility criterion has been fully met.
Responsible AI
For apps that use AI, the program requires a documented AI usage policy. This gives customers more information about how AI is used and how related data-handling practices are governed.
Together, these requirements give buyers a more consistent basis for evaluating applications. Certification doesn’t replace an organization’s own security assessment, but it provides verified information that can make that assessment more efficient.
TeamBoard ProScheduler: Our First Certified App
TeamBoard ProScheduler is DevSamurai’s project and resource planning app for Jira. It helps teams coordinate schedules, manage workloads, plan capacity, track milestones, and maintain visibility across projects.
For project managers, the priority may be understanding dependencies and keeping delivery on schedule. Resource managers need to balance capacity against demand, while organization-wide teams often need a consolidated view of multiple projects and shared resources.
These workflows can become deeply connected to daily operations. When an organization introduces a planning app into Jira, it needs to consider not only the app’s capabilities but also its security, reliability, and maintenance practices.
ProScheduler’s AEC designation provides an additional trust signal for customers evaluating those responsibilities.
The badge specifically recognizes compliance with Atlassian’s certification requirements. It isn’t a certification of individual scheduling features or a guarantee that an app is suitable for every environment.
We’re proud of the work behind this achievement and grateful to the engineers, security team members, and colleagues who contributed to the certification process.

What’s Next: Six More Apps Targeted for November 2026
DevSamurai has grown to a portfolio of 20 Atlassian Marketplace apps, supporting teams across project management, resource planning, testing, asset management, and other workflows.
Our next objective is to extend AEC certification across six major products:
- ProductGo
- Teamboard TimePlanner
- AssetIT
- AgileTest
- AgileBox
- GanttTable
We’re targeting November 2026 for all six apps to achieve Atlassian Enterprise Certified status.
This work involves reviewing each app against the program’s requirements, preparing the necessary compliance evidence, checking data-handling and security practices, and completing Atlassian’s individual verification process.
Each app must meet the applicable requirements independently. Our November schedule is a target, with final certification dependent on eligibility, verification results, and Atlassian approval.
We’ll announce each additional certification as it is confirmed.
Beyond the badges themselves, this initiative is helping us establish more consistent security documentation, incident response practices, accessibility information, and operational standards across our portfolio.
What This Means for DevSamurai Customers
Customers should be able to understand how the applications they depend on are built, secured, maintained, and supported.
As DevSamurai expands from individual Marketplace solutions into a broader SaaS portfolio, we’re putting greater emphasis on performance, security, compliance, and predictable operations alongside product development.
This work isn’t always visible in a release announcement. It includes reviewing permissions, improving monitoring, testing failure scenarios, documenting data flows, and making sure operational processes remain effective as products grow.
A badge helps customers recognize a commitment. Consistent engineering and customer support are how we keep it.
Thank You to Our Customers and the Atlassian Community
TeamBoard ProScheduler’s certification is an important first step in our next phase of product development.
Thank you to our customers for the feedback, questions, and expectations that continue to push us to improve. And thank you to Atlassian for introducing a clearer framework that helps vendors demonstrate how they meet enterprise requirements.
We’re looking forward to sharing more news as ProductGo, Teamboard TimePlanner, AssetIT, AgileTest, AgileBox, and GanttTable progress through certification in November.
